AUDIOBOOK REVIEW: THE CURSE OF TENTH GRAVE

Patrol Log:  0907142016

As a Part-time PI and full time grim reaper, Charley Davidson has asked a lot of questions throughout her life: Why can I see dead people? Who is the hot supernatural entity following me? How do I get gum out of my sister’s hair before she wakes up? But, “How do I trap not one malevolent god, but three?” was never among them. Until now. And since those gods are on earth to kill her daughter, she has little choice but to track them down, trap them, and cast them from this dimension.

A week after returning from New York, Charlie and Reyes have drifted apart. Charlie can no longer feel Reye's emotions no more than a human can, and this bugs the you know what out of her! Reyes is keeping tight lipped and distant from Charlie. What the hell is going on!

Charlie is returning from her amnesia, losing her father, and learning some serious secrets! Her number one goal is to get her daughter back. Come hell or high water, Charlie will reunite with her daughter, and kill anyone who stands in her way. As the story goes, and there is always one, there are three Gods on the loose out to kill B.E.P., (Reyes & Charlie's daughter) and Charlie is the only one equipped to take them down, since she has the God Glass and all... Oh yay, the God Glass! It's this really pretty pendant that is the portal to a hell'ish universe. The only way to trap a God in it is by another God, and their blood with that Gods true name spoken. But Reyes doesn't know she has it, or the other secrets she is holding near and dear. In true Charlie Davidson style, she is also trying to help find a missing woman to clear her innocent boyfriend, find out what crawled up Reye's beautiful ass, dodge some wannabe ghost hunters, and save the world... again.

I just ate the worst pumpkin pie, and the after taste is still lingering....yuck! The more books I read in this series, the more I fall deeper and deeper into the story. I love Charlie's world, with Lucifer, hell hounds and all! This dramatic and drawn out love story is a one of a kind thrill ride that I never want to end. The loss Charlie feels for BEP is real, and the love she has for Reyes is true and awe inspiring for me. I dread the day this adventure ends, but anxiously await when I meet the real hero of this story, Darynda Jones.

Narrator Review
Lorelei King returns as the voice of Charlie Davidson. Lorelei is what others should strive to become, the most amazing audio narrator ever! I love her voice, her quick retorts as she reads, and her love for Darynda Jones. At the end of the book was a surprise! An interview between Lorelei and Darynda! Thanks for the wonderful experience Lorelei!
