Ren Lewis is the most
powerful man in the world and he’s about to prove it. God, Ren believes,
has battled him his entire life, trying to use him as a pawn or punish
him for his wrong doings. This man, with powers most can’t fathom, has
been content to use his skills to help humanity. However, when God makes
a move that will carve out Ren’s heart for the rest of his life, he
makes the decision to finally outmaneuver the Almighty Creator. Using
technology, philosophy, quantum physics, psychology and spirituality,
Ren attempts to do something that millions of people throughout history
have only dreamed of. Because he’s a strategic man, Ren plans to break
God’s laws and be the first human to ever do the unspeakable.
last installment in the Ren series is the final evolution in a man’s
life who thought he never should have been born. Ren’s journey teaches
him that not only does he have a heart, but that as powerful as he is,
he is nothing without the love in his life. Ren Lewis will gain the
power to hack the system to beat God at his own game, but will he be
successful or banished to solitude?
on Ren: The Monster's Adventure... Ren is surprised with a
traditional road trip style family vacation, and along the way we discover
that Dahlia has been diagnosed with cancer. During his time on the
road, he is haunted by his thoughts and emotions while contemplating
how to deal with what is happening with his love Dahlia. Now that
her illness has progressed, will Ren succeed where others have failed
in order to stay with Dahlia? Let the ugly crying begin!
Having no idea where the story would go with Dahlia, I was just dumb
struck with how Noffke played this story out. Ren is pretty
brilliant, but I never imagined he would attempt what he has in order
to stay with Dahlia. He was never one for words, or displays of
affection, but no holds barred this time, the stakes were raised and
Ren showed the fuck up! Once it was apparent what was happening, he
didn't hold back any punches, and that's when the feels started and
crying began. I have loved Ren from the first book because he is
brutally honest, smart, and confident, a mans man, but this side of
him was new and took me by surprise with how much I needed to see his
heart. And also, knowing that Rynold, Ren's father was now a live-in
part of the family I never once worried for Adelaide or the baby, but
with that being said, the new level 5 case involves investigating
someone creating what?! Ya lets not forget the Lucidite Institutes
current cases, my God!
for endings and Ren's story, this was perfect. It's always hard to
say goodbye to a series, but Ren deserved a happily ever after and
Campbell drove the heart break home in the crack of his voice. He
played the heart broken, and love sick Ren with brilliant style. I
will miss you Tim/Ren. I hope to hear you in an audiobook in my near
future. Thanks for the memories...

But the lines are crushed beneath the boots of Captain John Franzen, assigned as a special advisor to her security team for a high-profile event in Vegas. The towering warrior with the haunted stare shatters her composure, invades her libido, and makes her yearn for things she shouldn't. Sweaty, illicit things...with her body pinned beneath his...

Accepting the security gig in Vegas is just a favor to a friend--a way to fill time that's become too damn empty lately.
Until the cushy "babysitting job" becomes the most treacherous mission of his life--and the politician he's protecting becomes the woman in his bed. The lover beneath his bonds...

USA Today bestselling romance author Angel Payne has been reading and writing her entire life, though her love for romances began in junior high, when writing with friends on "swap stories" they'd trade between classes. Needless to say, those stories involved lots of angst, groping, drama, and gooey kissing.
She began getting a paycheck for her writing in her twenties, writing record reviews for a Beverly Hills-based dance music magazine. Some years, various entertainment industry gigs, and a number of years in the hospitality industry later, Angel returned to the thing she loves the most: creating character-based romantic fiction. Along the way, she also graduated with two degrees from Chapman University in Southern California, taking departmental honors for English, before writing five historical romances for Kensington and Bantam/Doubleday/Dell.
Angel found a true home in writing contemporary-based romances that feature high heat and high concepts, focusing on memorable alpha men and the women who tame them. She has numerous book series to her credit, including the Kinky Truth series, the Secrets of Stone series (with Victoria Blue), the W.I.L.D. Boys of Special Forces series, and the acclaimed Cimarron series. Temptation Court, a new series being launched through the Dark Nights Discovery project, debuts in 2016.
Angel still lives in Southern California, where she is married to her soul mate and lives on a street that looks like Brigadoon, with their awesome daughter and Lady Claire, the dog with impeccable manners. When not writing, she enjoys reading, pop culture, alt rock, cute shoes, enjoying the outdoors, and being a gym rat.
Romance fans know that having a destined or chosen mate for the main
character is part of the norm, especially, but not exclusively when
it comes to shifters. The concept behind the trope is a major part of
the genre's foundation. The “insta-love” some like to call it may
or may not appear in all books, some do have a slow burning love, but
mating is none the less inevitable. For the true paranormal romance
fans, that is what you love about the genre, right? Or not? In the
rest of this article I will be discussing whether or not a fan can
love the genre without liking the “insta-love” factor of the
a die hard paranormal romance fan, the one aspect of the genre that I
absolutely LOVE is that being destined for that one person as your
soulmate, fated mated, whatever you want to call it THAT idealistic
fantasy part of the genre is what I love. Call me a hopeless
romantic, call me what you like but that is the most magical, and
powerful kind of destiny that we all search for in our real lives, we
just don't believe in it as much as our fictional selves do. The
entire novel is based on that fact. The story is built around fate
putting these two individuals together to fulfill their destiny. Then
after that comes the trials and tribulations they must conquer, and
with that is where the individuality comes from the author separating
their story from any others.
can you love PNR without loving the mating? Sure, that is what other
genres such as Dark Paranormal and Urban Fantasy are. There are
genres of books in the paranormal realm that do not submit to the
romance of it all. One could argue if you don't like the “insta-love”
thing, then move along to this other genre and stop bitching about
the romance part of a romance novel. But I love the storyline,
can't the author just take the soulmates part out...NO she can't
douche! Well do they all have to be instant love and attraction
meetings then? YES they do. The unseen force that pulls two
people together that were meant to be together is what causes that
reaction for the individuals. That is how they know, how they feel
the part of them that they have been looking for. If you take those
parts out of the story then you just have a regular ol' romance, and
with this being paranormal and all, nothing about the story can be
ordinary. Does there have to be so many sex scenes in the book, I
mean really! Uh ya there does! The coupling of the soulmates in
the storyline must be believable. The reader needs to feel the
passion between these two or the connection is never formed. When you
meet a man/woman that makes you feel like baring your soul, and you
are sexually charged for, the one primal drive you have is to be with
each other. So ya, fucking like rabbits is a must in a PNR. The
insta-love seems so unrealistic to me and therefore ruined the story.
It’s OK sweetie, you're in the wrong isle you need the isle
marked “Go Fuck Yourself”. See it? It's right there, OK bye bye.
conclusion on the matter is this, if you find yourself scowling over
the “insta-love” in the story or the numerous sex scenes then you
bought the wrong book. It is not the author's fault, nor was the book
badly written, and therefore does not need your negative review. What
the book, the author and the PNR community needs is for you to own
your mistake and walk away. We don't need to hear your Facebook
rants, or belittling on forums, or shitty review on Amazon. It is not
anyone's fault but your own that you are an ignorant fuck that needs
to learn what the fuck PNR is before you stroll down that isle in the
bookstore. How rude, I've never heard of PNR before! Well
guess what douche, there is this thing called “the internet”, and
“Google”, look it the fuck up!

CURSED With his clan
trapped and starving, vampire Andrei Vladimir will stop at nothing to
save them. But an ancient curse compels him to waste precious time
hunting the vile creatures he creates every time he feeds. With the
clock ticking, he weaves a trap to lure the fated female who can save
Covaci has been experiencing erotic dreams with her mystery dream
lover for quite some time, who her old world gypsy grandmother Adela
has been telling her is her destined soul mate. When Sonia meets
Korinna the shop owner of Bedazzled Jewels, she is quickly swept up
in a fantasy world beyond her wildest dreams. Will Sonia ever see the
truth in the stories betold her before it's too late for her soul
story is told through the point of view of three very different
people, but which fate ingeniously brought together for the most
heart stopping romance today. The story begins with Korinna, a
beautiful witch with an evil step-mother, (can totally relate) that
places a curse upon her out of jealousy as well as a dash of spite.
This is the backdrop of the story for Andrei Vladimir and the
horrible fate he is facing. So the story goes that for Andrei's
people, (vampires) they dream of their fated mates, and the closer
their mate is to them, the clearer the dream of them is and that is
when they go out to sweep her off her feet, but when Andrei falls
prey to a manipulating witch he is cursed for forsaking the witch,
and never allowed to return to his own realm with his people. Here is
where Sonia comes in, a gypsy, and her family is from Romania which
is where Andrei lives. She has been having some really steamy dreams
of a man she has never met before. She's reluctant to believe the
stories her grandmother has been telling her about since she was a
child. Can something that sounds like a Disney flick be true? The
story is just that, very Disney like quality to the fairytale of two
fated lovers. The mystery behind the magic is alluring, and what
pulls you into their lives. Although we don't have much time to go
into detail with this novella, it is the way the story is told that
holds you in place.
characters of the story were easily empathized with by the personal
connection I felt to both Sonia and her best friend Emma. Andrei
stole my heart with his fierce compassion for human life, and
especially the wrongful treatment of women. He is a man of stature,
who has morals, love, and sympathy for all, and never once wanted for
himself, but only wanted the best for his people. Who ever thought
that a cursed witch, a cursed vampire, and a love sick gypsy would be
so loyally devoted to one another only after a short period of time,
but it worked. The story was believable, the characters were genuine.
If I ever marry a billionaire, or uncover a family secret revealing I
am a gypsy, I will not hesitate for one second that I am destined for
a happily ever after... You rock Valerie Twombly!
Another shockingly suspenseful installment in #1 "New York Times" bestselling author Karen Marie Moning's Fever series.
picks up right where the surprising conclusion of "Iced" left off, and
will feature beloved characters Mac and Dani O'Malley as they embark on
another high-octane adventure in the Fever world.
and Barrons are back, and in for the adventure of a lifetime...again!
Iced left us in the street where Mac finally caught up with
Dani, ready to confront her about her sisters death. In the heat of
the moment, and Dani thinking Mac is wanting to kill her, she runs
right where she remembers the exact location she could enter the fae
world. With Barrons and Mac hot on her heels, Dani charges forward
deeper into the unknown, and royally screwing herself in the process.
Will Dani find her way out, or be stuck forever?
is one of those books that has you saying wtf a lot! While Mac is
beside herself about Dani, Barrons continues on with business as
usual. He reassures Mac several times in regards to Dani, and how
they would only get just as lost as her if they tried to continue to
chase after her. While Barrons is discussing business with the Seelie
and Unseelie, a new threat comes into town...doubly so. In her
attempt to keep a tight lid on “the book” Mac is turned
invisible, and the real fun begins. I would have to say that Mac
being invisible and the snooping she takes advantage of is the best
part of the story, however Jada, (new threat #1) is very close behind
in second. And our favorite Celtar Christian is not forgotten, and a
plan formulates to rescue him from the Crimson Hag.
back on the story after a weeks time, I don't find any part of the
story I didn't like or enjoy. But it is rather difficult to relay
what I thought and felt about the story without giving away spoilers.
During Iced and now Burned I've learned more
intimate details about the main characters, which puts me in a more
emotionally attached position with them. The two characters I loved
to hate in Iced, (Ryodan and Christian) have redeemed
themselves somewhat in Burned and my perspective of them is
totally different than before as their true intentions are revealed!
And for Gods sake, Barrons shows vulnerability with Mac, and I just
melted. Yup, Barrons, Ryodan, and Lore got under my skin in all the
right ways, and I am definitely coming back for more.
Gigante and Natalie Ross continue another great performance! I'm not
sure if it's just that I can so imagine them as the characters or
cause I'm that much in love with their voices. Either way, I love
them both for the way they rock this story!
